ABOUT DEVELOPMENT
The Above development took inspiration from learnings in downwind SUP and Wingfoiling. Learning from the longer, narrow designs of the Ace Foil, we wanted the same efficiency and speed to take off in light winds. However, we aimed for more maneuverability and forgiveness on touchdowns, requiring slightly shorter lengths while maintaining the narrow outlines crucial for fast take-offs. Combining the parallel mid-section from the Take Off range, the pronounced Vee nose from the X-15, and a compromise to widen the nose and tail outline, we created the Above.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE SHAPE?
Various volumes and sizes allow first-time riders to get up on foil easily, while intermediate riders will enjoy light wind winging and easy freeriding in all wind conditions.
Additional volume in the nose and tail allows you to have an even stance over the foil before flight, while the combination of a longer and narrower outline easily generates speed for early lift off. A parallel nose with sharp rails gives the Above easy-to-recover touchdowns, with instant rebound. The Above concept was inspired by blending our favourite models, with speed and fast lift off inspired from our narrower, Ace range and blended ideas from our favourite models through the years.

• Top grade 150g Biaxial Carbon wraps the entire board, joining with an overlap on the deck and bottom to create flat stringer, increasing the total breakage strength.
• 2 skins of durable fibre glass form a sandwich around the biaxial Carbon, protecting the carbon by dampening and absorbing the impact.
• The combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase the overall total breakage strength.
• Multiple reinforcements in the standing area, nose and tail increase impact resistance.
2026 NAISH Wingfoil Hover Ascend – Carbon Ultra
Enhanced profiling and R&D finesse has refined the Hover Ascend Range for optimum performance across all foiling disciplines. Designed with reduced swing weight and increased 'get go' characteristics, this versatile range appeals to wingfoilers, prone foilers, and SUP foilers alike. Experience improved stability from an increased waterline, facilitating easier foil initiation and better recovery from touchdowns thanks to streamlined bottom shaping.
The CU Construction features a lightweight and durable build with a CNC-cut EPS core and molded vacuum construction, complemented by full PVC carbon/biax glass foil boxes for enhanced strength and performance. The compact dimensions of the Hover Ascend Range minimize undesired momentum during turns, ensuring agile and responsive turning on the water. Redesigned inner bevel and bevel contour further increase stability, optimizing smooth rides during transitions on and off the foil. A versatile range, fine tuned for on-water adventures like none other.

The bottom shape flows from displacement at the front into double concave into the bevel tail. This unique bottom shape, combined with a slightly longer length and narrower outline helps the water flow effortlessly along the waterline of the board. The Drifter 4 Carbon is more stable and has more glide than ever with more maneuverability to carve and jump as hard as you dare.
